THE VILLA BastideSABLIERE Ideally located, in Eyragues and 12 kilometres from Saint-Rémy-de Provence and 15 minutes from Avignon TGV station, between Alpilles and Luberon.
This beautiful country house located 1 kilometre walking distance to the village of Eyragues.
Bastide Sabliere includes an independent cottage of 45m2 adjoining the main body of the house. The house with a warm and neat interior is south facing with distant view of Mont-Ventoux, with secure swimming pool of 12m x 5m.

The Bastide consists 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and in the independent Annex a further two bedrooms and bathroom, accommodating up to 12 guests
Large open space living room with open fireplace while the air conditioning facility is also available, dining room and kitchen with a bar counter. The kitchen is fully equipped including a toaster, coffee machine, oven, microwave and refrigerator and with access to a pantry / laundry room next door with tumble dryer and washing machine
Outside there is a Mediterranean garden of 3,000m2 with olive trees, lawn and a swimming pool secured by alarm 12m x 5m with its terraces 120m2 of south-facing terraces including 25m2 covered terrace for eating alfresco with barbecue. Fully fenced landscaped

The landscape in this region is particularly picturesque, encompassing rolling hills dotted with quaint hilltop villages and countless hiking trails, extensive sunflower fields, olive groves and formidable area of vineyards. This region is steep with history with plenty of sites to visit
Situated just south of Avignon, you are perfectly positioned between the idyllic villages of Les Alpilles National Park to the south and the lovely city of Avignon to the north.
The local village of Graveson, Chateaurenard and Eyragues are only between 2 to 3 kilometres from the Mas have picturesque old centre with pretty cafes and restaurants, a boulangerie and grocery shop.
To the south is the lively village of St Rémy de Provence just 5 kilometres is a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpilles with all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colourful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see. Further south Les Baux de Provence is considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France, Arles, Nîmes, Pont du Gard and Uzès and other towns you can easily visit in a day, and at less than 45 minutes' drive and to the east is the Luberon region and further south, Camargue’s unique wetland populated by pink flamingos and wild horses
Avignon to the north with its UNESCO world heritage site, with it’s magnificent Palais du Papes, which is one of the architectural wonders of France is just 16 kilometres away and would make an ideal day trip. Just north of Avignon is the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region for wine lovers as well.

I am not entirely sure I want to share this gem with anyone else
First off this is the first time I have bothered to review a holiday accommodation and secondly I am not entirely sure I want to share this gem with anyone else. But in the spirit in which we were received by the most gracious hosts of THE PLANTATION I feel duty bound to take the time to give credit where it is due.
The property itself is of course stunning. Look at the pictures. It does not disappoint in the flesh and nor is it photographed omitting noisy neighbours or ugly views. Secluded, subtle and an oasis of peaceful calm. Most previous reviews mention the fireflies on the lawn of an evening. I now understand why. Impossible to put into words or indeed film or photograph. What most don’t mention is the incredible calm of early morning there.
Good architectural fore thought meant my family of five ‘lived’ easily in this space. The space works very well. Location wise very convenient for Merida and the week barely gave us time to scratch the surface of all the sites within day trip distance. Utterly genuine honest hosts who are as enthused by the houses as we were. A rare find and a true ‘keeper’.

This house is everything it looks in the pictures and more, the layout around the infinity pool and interior design are second to none but the view from every room is what really makes this house so special. My family and I wanted to stay another week (if not indefinitely!) and the agents for the property are more than helpful to cater to any needs. The main town of St James is close as are all the top restaurants on the island. You will have everything you need here to make the perfect holiday, I know we will be making a re-booking! 5 of 5 stars

“Great house, great location, great holiday”
We stayed at THE BAY on our 3rd trip to Barbados having stayed at Royal Westmoreland in previous years. We had high expectations given the photos and were not disappointed. As it turns out, the photos don’t do the house full justice.
This is a unique house which we struggled to fault at all. In total we consisted of 6 adults and 2 kids and not once did we feel that we struggled for space. The house is very open and airy and set in a location which captures fantastic views and a nice breeze throughout the day and night. As the other reviews state you couldn’t get much better in terms of location. Short drive to Holetown one way and Mullins another short drive the other way. At the bottom of the hill is a great beach too.
