With an open plan living and dining room with a wall of windows facing the sea on the ground level connected to the kitchen [which is expertly equipped ready to entertain friends or family] leading to a cloakroom, study and playroom at the back. Two guest bedrooms and bathrooms, with the master bedroom with en suite are all on the second floor with a wonderful sea views. For the children or young adults there is a bunk room sleeping 4 with views across the bay.

THE WATCHTOWER comes complete with luxury bedlinen, bath and beach towels, home theatre, wireless internet, and Sonos music system throughout. There are also ocean kayaks, beach chairs and umbrellas to enjoy the water, sun and sand at this dune escape. East Quogue is a town located on the far end of Long Island. THE WATCHTOWER is the perfect escape for any family wanting to leave behind the hustle and bustle for a sprawling holiday home or for a group of friends to gather to relax and kick back.

There are three decks - a dining deck with large grill on the ground floor, a mezzanine deck off bedrooms with solar oculus and a full floor roof deck with 360 degree ocean views with an outdoor fireplace, lounge seating and dining area and to top it all a 7 person hot tub … what more do you need!

Settled in the mid-17th century, Quogue [where the property is located] is part of the greater Westhampton area and is one of the oldest communities on Long Island. Today, thanks to the stately Victorians nestled along its tree lined streets and the contemporary mansions along the ocean on Dune Road, Quogue is one of the most desirable residential areas in the Hamptons and offers a relaxed and friendly experience for visitors. Just to the east is East Quogue, which was settled in 1686 and was originally known as Fourth Neck. With acres of farmland and pine forests, a beautiful bay, and ocean beaches, it is enlivened by the world class Main Street dining and the seasonal influx of visitors.

East Quogue is a hamlet [an unincorporated area] and located in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. It is within the town of Southampton. East Quogue is one of the smallest residential areas in the well known “Hamptons.” The community is approximately 10 minutes from Westhampton and 15 minutes from Southampton.  Most of the resident ancestries were Italian, Irish, German, Polish, and English. The community has beautiful old style homes,  a town boat ramp, beaches, and old fashioned shops. The ocean bays also provide lots of opportunities for swimming, fishing, boating, water skiing, and windsurfing. Historic sites and museums include the Old School House Museum that is said to be the largest and best in Suffolk County. The museum is a collection of remnants of Quogue’s early history. East Quogue is the perfect place for spending time together with your family and friends. Read more on the history

The Home Escape THE WATCHTOWER Testimonials

Absolutely Amazing

This accommodation is by far the best place I have ever stayed. Everything blew away our expectations. I cannot write enough about the whole experience. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for that trip of a lifetime. My only wish is that I could have stayed longer.

Most spectacular views imagineable

It's unlike anything we have visited before; the property is a 4000 acre working sheep farm and to get to THE COVE - a modern glass-encased, open plan one bedroom home - you need to take the farm's own 4x4 about 45 minutes. The drive offers some of the most spectacular views imaginable so it's no hardship. Once at THE COVE we had the run of the property; it has a modern, industrial feel, with breathtaking views across a deserted bay popular with seals, gas fireplaces both inside and out, a modern kitchen for preparing the vacume sealed gourmet meals pre-delivered, a sleek bathroom with a deep soak tub, and an outdoor jacuzzi.

Nick Walton I THE COVE

Exceeded the already high expectations

My friend and I just returned from 4 amazing nights in THE PLANTATION.

We had spent a few days in Merida, and the trip to the country was a fantastic counterpart. As you enter the grounds, beautiful landscaping and nature surrounds you. At the center of it all is the contemporary designed house, which exceeded the already high expectations we had before we arrived!

The days were warm and relaxing and magical fireflies lit up the grounds as twilight began. the owners suggestions for daily outings were interesting, tasty and offered many insights into the history and local culture of the region.

The caretakers were very warm and helpful and they cooked us an outstanding regional meal, which I highly recommend. We had a great time communicating with them using an iPhone language translation app!

We can't wait to return with additional friends in the near future.
