Public review: When you book a place online, you always have this nagging feeling on how it will be in “real life” vs all the photos in the web-site. I have to say – that in the case of this villa – the photos did not do justice to the place, and it has acceded our expectations. Everything in the house was top notch – and every corner carefully designed and thought of. From the entrance with the code panel, to the glass walls that surround the place, to every small thing – it was all both efficient and beautiful. We were a large group, so we rented the entire place (without the Europe suite which is on the top floor and is the private resident of Dora). This mean we had 3 of the units – each in different size and in different design – but it was perfect for our needs. On the top floor we had one unit with a bedroom for a couple, with its own walk-in shower and toilet, and another room with 4 bunk beds (i.e. 4 beds) and its own bathroom and shower. This unit has a small kitchen but no joint sitting area (which we did not need). One key bonus is the small balcony from the bedroom looking to the south-west side on the sea, with an open view for the magnificent sunsets. You have an accessible shower, and even an elevator. All rooms has air-condition, and wifi. There is also a safe. One of the units on the ground floor was for a couple, and had more privacy, and even an exit to its own small sitting area in the back of the house. Very nice. The third unit was the biggest, with 2 bedrooms with a joint shower, and another small bedroom with one bank bed (i.e. 2 beds) with a small bathroom and shower of its own. This mean that a family of 6 could easily fit. This unit had a nice joint sitting area with a dining table and kitchen. So if a priority of yours is a large indoor joint area (like a large living room with a large kitchen that can fit a group of 10 and more inside) – the layout might not be the best fit for that. But since it seems that this place is designed for summer recreation – for us it was PERFECT! The real thinking on design in the outside – where you spend most of you time anyway. The pool is an infinity one, with the jacuzzi as part of it (i.e. not a hot tub, but in the temp of the pool). Ton of outdoor sitting options, sun-bathing options, and even a sweet water shower head near the pool. You even have an outdoor sink and refrigerator near the pool, with all the things you need to make yourself a refreshing cocktail. That’s the level of attention to details. There are tables and sofas all over, enough to enable even a group of 12 to eat outside. The garden has many different herbs in it, that you can use, and a big coal grill area, if you want to barbeque. Dora even places several sizes of bicycles, with brand new helmets, including the helping wheels – for the use of the guests – which the kids highly enjoyed. The villa is sited right on the sea, right on a wide walking path that can take you to several beaches 200m away, and to local tavernas. Which we highly enjoyed. There are 2 supermarkets right on the road behind he house, and 2 bakeries – one focuses on breads and one on sweets – both excellent. Finally – a very good word for Dora. She was really helpful in helping us make catering reservations for our arrival evening, and the following breakfast, and gave us very good recommendations for dinner options – both in a walking distance and in the next, bigger, village 4km away. The area itself is beautiful, with many small secluded beaches around. About almost 2 hours drive from Heraklion airport, an hour drive from Agios Nicolas, and an hour from Sitia. Even this short review does not do enough justice to the place and to the host, and I highly recommend this place, the great host, and the area to anyone looking for a luxurious vacation right on the beach. The sunsets and night sky themselves are the free bonus you get everyday..

Public review: Amazing place, luxury, quiet, charming, great host . The only place i have ever been( and I travel a lot) that looks better then the pictures. Just a corner of heaven... Luxury place in a very charming place. Dora was a fantastic host...she spoiled us in any way possible...we were a large group .... Thank you so much , Dora, for an amazing experience!!! Can't wait to be back!

Public review: We had a wonderful vacation in this fabulous house! We were three families (14pers), and the house was just perfect, with both social areas and privacy for each family, and the pool to jump in from early morning until late evening. It was only 1,40 min from the airport, and easy to find and good roads to drive. There were supermarkets and some nice restaurants on walking distance, and more only 5-10min drive away. Dora were a wonderful host and answered every question right away. We can warmly recommend this!

Public review: Excellent hospitality. Excellent help with our family for check in. Wonderful communication before and during trip. Great shower pressure and extra towels. This house is close to amazing Crete beaches.
