THE Villa MasCADENIERES Situated In the heart of the Alpilles mountains in a magnificent quiet unspoilt location yet only 3 kilometres from St Remy de Provence, access to the Mas is on a dirt track road of 1.5 km (5 minutes) The Mas Cadenieres is surrounded by 3 hectares of land consisting of olive and apricot fields and a large lawn facing the house.

St Remy-de-Provence just over two kilometres is a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpilles with all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colourful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see.

The landscape in this region is particularly picturesque, encompassing rolling hills dotted with quaint hilltop villages and countless hiking trails, extensive sunflower fields, olive groves. This region is steep with history with plenty of sites to visit such as Les Baux de Provence is considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France, Avignon, Arles, Nîmes and Uzès and the are other towns you can easily visit in a day, and at only 45 minutes' drive and to the east is the Luberon region and further south, Camargue’s unique wetland populated by pink flamingos and wild horses.

The Mas recently renovated keeping to the Provencal style is spread over 260 m2 consist of on the ground floor, two double bedrooms each with of their shower, basin and WC, a large open plan 90 m2 living room of 90 dining area and fully equipped American style kitchen.

Upstairs two further double bedrooms suites of 40 m2 with their bathrooms including bath, shower, WC and large wardrobes.

Outside the Mas set in absolute calm with unobstructed view of the Alpilles and surrounded with a large lawn and a 10 x 5 meter saltwater pool. Large terrace in front of the Mas with pergola with dinning facilitates and barbecue overlooking the olive trees and apricot trees and a boule pitch shaded by the trees. There is a table tennis table

This house is everything it looks in the pictures and more, the layout around the infinity pool and interior design are second to none but the view from every room is what really makes this house so special. My family and I wanted to stay another week (if not indefinitely!) and the agents for the property are more than helpful to cater to any needs. The main town of St James is close as are all the top restaurants on the island. You will have everything you need here to make the perfect holiday, I know we will be making a re-booking! 5 of 5 stars

 

James family - THE BAY

“Great house, great location, great holiday”
We stayed at THE BAY on our 3rd trip to Barbados having stayed at Royal Westmoreland in previous years. We had high expectations given the photos and were not disappointed. As it turns out, the photos don’t do the house full justice. 

This is a unique house which we struggled to fault at all. In total we consisted of 6 adults and 2 kids and not once did we feel that we struggled for space. The house is very open and airy and set in a location which captures fantastic views and a nice breeze throughout the day and night. As the other reviews state you couldn’t get much better in terms of location. Short drive to Holetown one way and Mullins another short drive the other way. At the bottom of the hill is a great beach too. 

The Davidsons - THE BAY

THE PLANTATION is an architectural masterpiece and without doubt the most incredible place we ever imagined staying! Amazingly when we arrived it was even more astounding than we thought possible. Everything about the property and gardens was completely effortless. Everything was where you wanted it to be if you had designed it specifically for yourself! The kitchen, sunken lounge area, pool, bedrooms and huge open windows all set off by the elegant and stylish furnishings. Around every corner is another interesting view or stunning vista. This alone would have made our honeymoon stay unforgettable. However, we also had the incredible service and attention from the the owner and the ladies and gentlemen who prepared our food, kept the house spotless and the gardens effortlessly manicured. The location is also perfect for exploring the area, though, once you arrive it is almost impossible to leave the house. Finally I actually cannot believe the incredible value of it. We have paid 4 or 5 times this to stay in places that will not hold such as happy place in our heart.
