THE VILLA MAYAVEE is located on the west coast of Phuket, at Waterfall Bay on Kamala’s Millionaire’s Mile. Situated in an exclusive community, it is secluded from the crowded popular tourist sites, but also in close proximity to the island’s best beaches. The popular white sand beaches of Patong, Kamala, and Surin are a close distance, providing opportunities for guests to explore the island’s natural beauty while also staying close to the villa.
The entire property encompasses 10,200 square meters of land, with the main building occupying 2,400 square meters of space. The building is a unique Z-style structure where guests are welcomed into a stone hallway upon arrival and directed up to a spiral staircase leading to the living areas and separate wings.
Surrounding the property is a lush, tropical jungle that seems to embrace the villa. Both ocean and mountain views are seen from every angle of the rooms, as well as the outdoor lounge spaces. Floor to ceiling glass doors and windows welcome natural light to seep through, creating immaculate spaces for rest and relaxation.
There are generally two wings to the villa – the guest wing, where 3 suites, the gym, and a pool are situated; and the master wing, where the master suite is located and separated from the rest of the guest rooms.
The master wing is a private space that’s separated from the rest of the building by the kitchen and dining areas. It features an impressive dressing area, its own private pool, a library, and an office. The suite is a private retreat all on its own, which makes for the perfect accommodation for a couple while the rest of the family or friends enjoy their time around the rest of the property. This true architectural masterpiece brings the best of the modern world into the natural arena of Phuket’s beautiful tropical forest, while also offering incredible ocean views of the Andaman.

The villa was designed by Tierra Design and finished in 2009. Its overall structure is the highlight of the property, which is defined by geometric lines and volumes that offer a true Zen characteristic to the entire building. There are a total of 4 levels to this Z-shaped home, with an entry that greets guests into a stone hallway, and directed up to a spiral staircase that’s encased with glass. This beautiful entry frames the vast sea, which gives you a glimpse of the breathtaking views that fill every angle on the property. Immediately, you will feel a sense of calm upon entering the property. Linear lines in neutral colors and a blend of natural and concrete materials are merged seamlessly to create a look that’s respectful of the beautiful rain forest that surrounds the home. With floor to ceiling glass doors and windows, the entire villa purposely embraces its natural surroundings to mimic the look of the outdoors as an extension of the interiors.

What a beautiful house with a gorgeous view facing sun set and rice field; “you can not talk of such a place without crashing your decor, exceptional it is true! Imagine just come face to green rice fields and fields dotted with disheveled huts lonely 180 ° and 400 meters from the best beach on the coast. We had the chance to enjoy this place early June, it was perfect: sunny, lovely beach, warm enough water, very quiet… like a paradise; we would definitively come back to visit.

The most awe inspiring place I have been to
Exotic singing birds; lush plants; phenomenal food; refreshing pool and lounging areas; great sound system that can be linked to different areas of the house; star-gazing platform on the roof to watch the sunset and the stars; privacy. It is located perfectly for day trips to cenotes, ruins, the beach and the city, but feels like a complete escape from it all behind the limestone walls and under the royal palms. Spending time here was the trip of a lifetime. A real thinking place.

THE PLANTATION is an architectural masterpiece and without doubt the most incredible place we ever imagined staying! Amazingly when we arrived it was even more astounding than we thought possible. Everything about the property and gardens was completely effortless. Everything was where you wanted it to be if you had designed it specifically for yourself! The kitchen, sunken lounge area, pool, bedrooms and huge open windows all set off by the elegant and stylish furnishings. Around every corner is another interesting view or stunning vista. This alone would have made our honeymoon stay unforgettable. However, we also had the incredible service and attention from the the owner and the ladies and gentlemen who prepared our food, kept the house spotless and the gardens effortlessly manicured. The location is also perfect for exploring the area, though, once you arrive it is almost impossible to leave the house. Finally I actually cannot believe the incredible value of it. We have paid 4 or 5 times this to stay in places that will not hold such as happy place in our heart.
