Villa Xanet accommodation is all on one level making this a perfect family bolt hole. Beamed ceilings and tiled floors give a sense of the charm and history of the property, whilst air conditioning, Wi-Fi and modern appliances bring a sense of the modern.
Nearby Pollenca is conveniently close at hand. Having avoided the excesses of tourism on the island, this is a place where one can wander the streets and find a nice café, to visit the Sunday market in the Placa Major and later to journey to the port where there is a glorious beach and numerous restaurants and cafes.If you stay at the end of July (into early August) look forward to one of the main fiestas “La Patrona”with its mock battles between Christians and invading Moors.

Exceeded the already high expectations
My friend and I just returned from 4 amazing nights in THE PLANTATION.
We had spent a few days in Merida, and the trip to the country was a fantastic counterpart. As you enter the grounds, beautiful landscaping and nature surrounds you. At the center of it all is the contemporary designed house, which exceeded the already high expectations we had before we arrived!
The days were warm and relaxing and magical fireflies lit up the grounds as twilight began. the owners suggestions for daily outings were interesting, tasty and offered many insights into the history and local culture of the region.
The caretakers were very warm and helpful and they cooked us an outstanding regional meal, which I highly recommend. We had a great time communicating with them using an iPhone language translation app!
We can't wait to return with additional friends in the near future.

This house is everything it looks in the pictures and more, the layout around the infinity pool and interior design are second to none but the view from every room is what really makes this house so special. My family and I wanted to stay another week (if not indefinitely!) and the agents for the property are more than helpful to cater to any needs. The main town of St James is close as are all the top restaurants on the island. You will have everything you need here to make the perfect holiday, I know we will be making a re-booking! 5 of 5 stars
